The city of Iğdır is located in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey with borders to Armenia, Iran and Azerbaijan.  Ağrı Dağı or Mount Ararat, the highest mountain in Turkey, is partly located in Iğdır province. Iğdır presents the best view of Mount Ararat, and also has a soft, warm climate unlike the neighboring cities on Eastern Anatolia Plateau. Thanks to its unique climate, Iğdır province is considered a microclimate region with high potential in agriculture.-
